In a recent firmware update, a compatibility change was implemented to support the new device management for Microsoft Teams Rooms Devices on Android. Microsoft has made changes to Intune that affect devices like Poly X50 that are android based.
Here are two notes that describe these changes:
Teams Android-based devices are managed by Intune via Android Device Administrator (DA) management. Customers must enroll their devices using Android Device Administrator. Before devices can be enrolled into Intune, there are a few basic steps to perform.
Microsoft Teams certified Android devices will be migrated to Android Open Source Project (AOSP) management in Intune with a firmware update in the first half of the 2024 calendar year. Policies will not be migrated automatically, so IT admins will need to create the appropriate new policies for AOSP management. You can read more about this in the Microsoft 365 or Microsoft Intune admin center Message center under MC665936.
To resolve this, first ensure that Device Administrator is Enabled, by logging in and selecting the checkbox at this location -
