RECORD ALL SERIAL NUMBERS OF ANY DEVICES MENTIONED IN THIS GUIDE

After hardwire installation and system power on:


Logitech System with NUC (Zoom):

  1. When the system powers on and NUC is on display, complete initial windows setup if prompted

  2. Once Zoom pairing code is shown on screen, enter code into Tap. Select “Sign-in” and enter 16-Digit activation code supplied by PF Tech.

  3. Tap Settings>System>Windows Settings or press Windows icon on keyboard 5 times and log into Zoom Admin account

    1. Enter Default Password: Zoom123 or <Blank>

    2. Download and Install all available Windows updates including optional updates. Reboot as necessary until complete. (Note: To get back to the NUC Zoom UI, reboot the NUC)

  4. Set Power Options on Windows to Sleep: Never & Plugged in: Never

  5. Install Displaylink drivers and verify it is the latest version

  6. Install Logitech Offline Sync App and run it

    1. Login with the email and password used for the Sync Portal invitation sent to you by a PF Technician. Contact a PF Tech if you have not received one.

    2. Name the room according to the site name and add a seat count

    3. Update all Logitech devices

    4. Once completed, reboot everything manually (rally bar, tap swytch hub, swytch hub extender, shutdown nuc from windows)

  7. Open Control Panel>View by Small Icons>Sound:

    1. Playback: Make Echo Cancelling Speakerphone Default Device. Disable all others

    2. Recording: Make Echo Cancelling Speakerphone Default Communication Device. Disable all others except: Tap HDMI Ingest.

  8. Test the room and ALL functions within each mode. (Local HDMI, Zoom Calls, content sharing, BYOD (speaker, microphone and camera drivers show up on testing laptop))

  9. Clean Room/Straighten Up

  10. Take site photos and test with client

 

Logitech Rally Bar System without NUC (Zoom):

  1. When the system powers on it will prompt you for initial setup and updates

  2. Complete all updates as required

  3. Select Zoom Rooms as your provision type for the room

  4. Proceed to sign in and enter the activation code supplied by the client. If you haven’t received one contact a PF Tech

  5. Hold center radial button on small Logi Bluetooth Remote for 5 seconds to pair

  6. Hold the “Hangup (Phone)” button on the small Logi Bluetooth Remote for 5 seconds to access the settings page

  7. On the System Settings page navigate to SYNC 

    1. Login with the email and password used for the Sync Portal invitation sent to you by a PF Technician. Contact a PF Tech if you have not received one. 

    2. Name the room according to the site name and add a seat count

    3. Exit Setup Screen

  8. Test the room and ALL functions within each mode. (Zoom calls, content sharing (HDMI Ingest to Tap), BYOD (speaker, microphone and camera drivers show up on testing laptop)

  9. Clean Room/Straighten Up

  10. Take site photos and test with client

Rally Bar + Rally Bar Mini

Q: What is the standard best practice for mounting Rally Bar devices?

A: When installing Rally Bar/Rally Bar Mini, using the Rally Bar TV Mount  to install the Rally bar beneath the display is preferable to above the display. It’s important to leave a couple inches clearance between the Rally Bar and bottom of display for leaving the ability to put the display into service position. Consider this when measuring your display height while mounting. 



Rally Plus

Q: Where are the preferred locations for where to install/mount devices?

A: Mount NUC and Swytch Hub on the right side of the left display. This allows for closer cable connections and running the power for Table and Display hub in ceiling from wattbox upper right of left display. Speakers have proprietary cables and length. If needing a little extra cable length, reverse the sides of the speakers to allow the cable length to work with the display hub and table hub mounted in the ceiling above the camera location. When installation is complete, no cables should be visible. 


Logitech Rally Products with Room Computer (NUC)

Q: What network connections are needed when installing a rally bar/rally bar mini with a room PC?

A: Only the room PC requires a network connection. The Rally bar/Rally bar mini is simply a USB connection to the NUC which supplies network and driver connectivity. If the NUC isn’t immediately receiving network connection, reach out to the local contact or LAN admin and supply them the MAC address of the NUC if needed.

(NOTE: If the client doesn’t have an SLA, the client should be instructed to making their own logitech sync account, and the devices will be added to their account instead) Once signed in to an account and all peripheral devices are plugged in and detected in the inventory list, apply all available updates)
